Other Policies
Late Work: It is very important that you stay caught up with your work, since daily work is a big part of your grade and I only accept late work for 1 week past the due date. If you do turn something in late you will lose 10-20% of the possible score of the assignment if you turn it in within one day of the due date. After an assignment is one day late, I will accept it for 50% of the possible points, up to one week after the original due date. Also when turning in work, always put the appropriate info on the top (i.e. late and how many days, or absent and number of days) of the page or you will only receive half credit. Words of Wisdom (WOW) -- get your assignments in on time! To sweeten the deal, I will drop your lowest test grade if you have all of your assignments in at the end of the semester.

Make-up Work After Being Absent: If you are gone for any reason, it is your responsibility when you get back to school to check with the teacher for your make-up work. Usually you have an equal number of days to make up your work as you were absent. After this number of days, the policies about late work apply. If there is a problem, please see the teacher.

Note: This course involves a lot of vocabulary that we will be working on the entire semester.
Each student is asked to bring 3x5 cards for vocab activites.
